I suppose he needs to know the SOC or the voltage state, so he can intervene if they drop below 12.7v.
2 questions before breakfastKev (Boris7) stupid question time...
If you are storing the van and will not have access to it, why do you need to monitor the leisure batteries?
Or is there some sort of electrical witchcraft that allows you to alter settings remotely?
I know, two questions, someone would mention it![]()
Very good Tim…..Ah, now den Kev (Boris7) ye had me going dare so ye did when ye said "not have access to/unable to visit" when dats not exactly roight.
Why not when accessing or visiting check der batteries as you'll be dares anyways.

The company I used is Itrack but there are cheaper out their now,
It is the same as this.
I put the Candeon (as suggested by Del) on today and it’s a bit clunky, but it works.
I’ve ordered the eBay one as well, if I’m happy with the Candeon I’ll put the eBay one on the 4x4
Just check with the insurer will accept that unit for a discount.
I haven’t told my insurance that I have the tracker fitted, but I do have the strike back alarm system fitted, that they give a discount for.Good point Kev, sadly it isn't - no real surprise at the price. It's not Thatcham approved as there is no dedicated call centre.

You can set the tracker to send you an alert if it is moved, mine alerts my phone Helens phone and my iPad as soon as it leaves my drive
But not much help...Very good Tim…..
Most likely a complete waste of time Tim, but I'm a bit of a belt and braces bloke. But not much help...
