WiFi Battery monitor

Kev (Boris7) stupid question time...
If you are storing the van and will not have access to it, why do you need to monitor the leisure batteries?
Or is there some sort of electrical witchcraft that allows you to alter settings remotely?
I know, two questions, someone would mention it:rolleyes:
2 questions before breakfast ;) in fact before tea, usPaddies don't function before tea you know.

Basically Kev's right.

I normally pop into the storage weekly except between mid December and early January so if the battery level is dropping I am able to intervene.

However a recent change (or potential change) in circumstances have me thinking, I can monitor the EcoFlow via wifi so why not the leisure battery?

Ah, now den Kev (Boris7) ye had me going dare so ye did when ye said "not have access to/unable to visit" when dats not exactly roight.
Why not when accessing or visiting check der batteries as you'll be dares anyways.

Very good Tim…..

I put the Candeon (as suggested by Del) on today and it’s a bit clunky, but it works.

I’ve ordered the eBay one as well, if I’m happy with the Candeon I’ll put the eBay one on the 4x4

It's the Tracker function I'm interested in Kev, especially as my insurance is due in a month's time although the Voltage readout is an added bonus. (Bluetooth won't reach the van whilst I am in bed!)

I might go for the Trutrack Pro 4g FMT100 version.

Good point Kev, sadly it isn't - no real surprise at the price. It's not Thatcham approved as there is no dedicated call centre.
I haven’t told my insurance that I have the tracker fitted, but I do have the strike back alarm system fitted, that they give a discount for.
You can set the tracker to send you an alert if it is moved, mine alerts my phone Helens phone and my iPad as soon as it leaves my drive

Yes, I'll probably still go for it Richard.

I have a Thatcham approved alarm which gets me discount (as several people who were at the Henley meet will vouch!)
