Replacing Dometic RM4233 absorption fridge

Replaced my rm4233 the other month with an indel b cruise 85 as like you mine fits over the wheel arch and this was the only one i could find that fitted. I had to make a shelf for it to sit on and then made a small cupboard under the fridge where the wheel arch is also needed about 10mm strip of wood down the side as the rm4233 is a few mm wider. Just back from 3 weeks portugal and spain and the fridge was a game changer so much more room and big deep ice box.

I was lucky as I found a 240v unit that fitted like a glove in the space where the absorbtion fridge lived.

I dont have a fridge that size at home never mind in a van.

As you know Christian we changed our Thetford 3 way fridge for a Shoreline. On the whole of the trip to Norway we had ice and ice cream and loads of frozen food, it was a complete game changer.

don't forget suitable DC cabling sized to cope with the inrush current of a compressor fridge.
Should be pretty simple to run in your Motorhome - run under the chassis from the external battery compartment along to the gas dropout vent in the fridge enclosure and bring it inside through that
