So,
I’ve always had 5000-7,500kg Tag Axel or Twin wheel live in vehicles over the last 15 years or so that I’ve been living this lifestyle, & had my fair share of Punctures over this time as a fair few of my favourite park ups are in Farmers yards (with Permission), less used Lay-bys, well out the way Tracks or in Woods & or Forrest’s. Never really been a problem before because I could limp to safety to deal with the issue after a cuppa.

Now THIS vehicle’MO’ is the first 4 wheeler I’ve had, & Yep a few weeks ago -

Now MO has got a Fat arse at over 4000kg & as these things often happen in the Wind, Rain or Snow & of course in the dark I hate the idea of fumbling & Flaying about under it & adding an injury to the issue.
So I’ve been thinking of this Slime gunk or similar as a preventative or rather emergency plug for punctures.
HOWEVER I believe that there advertised for ‘OFF Road tyres’.
Any thoughts guys 🤔

Hey Rob,
Ahh yes, I’ve seen similar to this, I’ve also seen a ‘Gun’ type with mushrooms plugs that took my fancy.

But these can only be used when the tyre is already Flat so won’t help you get to safety of the road.

Hey Trev,
So don’t you put this stuff IN your tyre before you get a puncture.
Or do you put it in WHEN you get a puncture ?
Is the purpose of the areasol to blow your tyre back up again as well ?.

Hi Guys,
Brilliant offer 👍😊,
Is this the stuff that goes in the tyre before you get a puncture?
Have you used this stuff before ?.
What’s your take on it for road use ?.

Yes it is put into the tyres before a puncture, I have used it before when I was doing courier work, it works very well,
But tyre fitters don’t like it when they come to change tyres,

Yes if flat it will inflate the tyre, but not to a high pressure, but still driveable, i have some in one front wheel for near on a year and its stopping leaking at the beed seal, i have a leaky rear so going to fill it soon, it is mainly for a roadside emergency but works ok in tyre long term.

So I run my Front tyres at 62PSI & Rear tyres at 64PSI..
So once you put this stuff in can you inflate the tyres with air to bring them up so it takes the stress out of getting to a garage quickly. Or will it treat the tyre valve as a ‘Leek’ when trying to inflate it ?🤔

You put the slime in then inflate the tyre to the pressure required, then if in future you Ron over a nail etc it will seal it immediately,
You won’t even know you had a puncture,
If you spot a nail in the tyre and decide that you want to remove the nail then rotate the wheel as soon as you have removed the nail and it will seal it straight away

Not sure which one you are talking about Paul but with the foam I believe it gums up the valve so you can't further inflate it. Also apparently many tyre depots won't repair or replace your tyre afterwards as it's a messy job.

That's why I'd only use it as a last resort.

Yeah I’m thinking a good dose of the ‘Slime’ in each tyre, then just be mood adding a more thorough tyre inspection to my vehicle checks every Sunday.
Thanks guys 👍😊

Once in you can top tyre up with air as normal, this is they way i do and never a problem, however if you are using tyre pressure censors they can get blocked or mis read pressures, i had one which did this and i had to clean it but now works ok.
