Nightmare at tunnel checkin.

Since the last outbreak we have seen huge increases in deer, esp. Muntjac, these can carry FMD and would make it very difficult to stop the spread.

We're well fenced in Colin, but next door get Muntjac in the garden and they wreak havoc with the trees.

Dunno what they taste like?

They taste quite nice, before MS struck him down a friend struggled to keep up with demand for venison off the Muntjac he shot. I did see a headline that Adam Hanson posted on countryfile about increasing consumption of Muntjac.

I've probably actually eaten Muntjac before without knowing it.

My mate 'Poacher Pete' has got me Venison quite a few times but I've never asked where it was sourced. 😐

'Back in the day', I would supply BiL with rabbit haunches which would be put in a big stewpot over a fire at rally's, he would tell his girls they where having chicken stew, one day I walked up to him and he had Muntjac haunch in the pot, I said "Christ that was a big chicken". :p
