I didn't actually mean vehicles reporting, I meant
sensors in cars physically restricting a car to stay within the speed limit then there would be no need to fine anybody for speeding.
But priorities regarding safe driving are just plain wrong sometimes. My granddaughters car was hit in a service station a while back (I posted about it at the time). The driver was clearly under the influence of drink/drugs and got very aggressive, she had to be rescued by a passer by. She 'phoned the police at the time but they said it didn't warrant sending anybody out - so that driver was not prevented from driving off and possibly killing somebody which is disgraceful.
As an aside, she has heard from her
insurance company today and they are refusing to pay out the £12000 repair bill as they don't believe that the damage could have all been caused by such an accident even though it definitely was. However, for reasons I cannot disclose (yet) this is going to cost the
insurance company very dearly!
