Traditional G Wagen are narrow by modern standards, but there is plenty of elbow room with drivers window up.
The've been in constant production since 1979, making it Mercedes longest produced model (even if Mercedes don't make them

) But a Puch badged G is a rare sight.
There was a short run of right hand drive vehicles when the Australian army ordered a load of them. They'll be some nice trucks for camper conversions when they get rid of them, especially the 6x6.
Apart from that, G Wagen have all been LHD since late 90's, early 00's.
That's all changed with the new model in 2018, 463 2nd generation which is huge compared to original G and available RHD.
The original G is still made I think, but only for military, UN, etc.
