People in Scotland will be allowed to meet up with two other households indoors from 10 July and pubs and restaurants can re-open from 15 July.
First Minister Nicola Sturgeon also said the five-mile travel limit will be lifted from 3 July, while beer gardens can re-open from 6 July.

"July 3rd.
The use of self-contained holiday accommodation - such as cottages, lodges and caravans with no shared services - will also be allowed from that date, along with second homes."

reckon if it's good enough for tuggers..... it's good enough for us.
will head for Duck Bay Marina at Loch Lomond & see if I get busted for overnighting.
stop by if you see a Rapido 987M.......the socially distant Milky Bars are on me ;-)

I’ve been booked into my usual CS site near Penrith for 2 months, I use it at least every 2 weeks so was guaranteed a spot when they opened.
Will travel up to Skye later in the month to visit friends and hopefully will travel up to Melon Udrigle and beyond all being well.

Many Scottish sites are not opening at all this year, especially in the highlands. If you are heading for a site - check it is actually open.

No problem, I will wear my kilt but do I have to go without my nickers to qualify or will there be somebody there with a mirror on a stick just to check:rolleyes::rolleyes:😇

Re-opening of anything in Scotland is subject to conditions. Such as containing the virus. If the rates go up, the shutters go down. Even if sites are open, toilets and showers will not. You will be welcome in Scotland when the virus is contained, aye, even if you are English. At the moment, we are seriously thinking of closing the border to visitors. Bournemouth showed how careless some people can be with others lives.

The instructions just now are still ... stay at home.

I feel ashamed to be English when you see what went on in Bournemouth. The Scottish just seem to get on with life.
Just to say, I'm from North Yorkshire not Bournemouth.
And if you do close your border down, I don't think anyone would blame you.
We are booked to go to Killin at the end of July, fingers crossed.

We had a speculative booking at a site in Scotland first week of July. I had assumed it was a 'no go' but they called ne last week to say they'd had word they could re-open from 3rd July, and are we still coming? Scotland is go!

In general Scotland’s accommodation reopens on 15th July, but where facilities are self contained that’s allowed from the 4th, so campsites can open but must keep showers and toilets closed. Link
