YourParkingSpace Dilemma

I have contacted the said Premier Inn and was told the carpark is nothing to do with them. So long as I register and prepay they don't have a problem! The guy I spoke to on the reception said that Your Parking Space manage the car park.
They lost out, because I was going to book a couple of nights in the hotel, but overnight the price went up £100. Apparently it is Dynamic Procing. It updates every 6 hours.
**** just book it, park and enjoy. If not wild camp near by.

Used YPS for the first time on Monday evening. A large Tesco car park in Cornwall. 9.30pm through till 08.30am £2.00 plus .49p handling charge.
Totally empty car park, and a very peaceful night.
My only concern, as mentioned in earlier post. Website says max size no bigger than large MPV, so how long is a bit of string! A Ford Ranger is approx 5.4 metres long, and would certainly overhang a standard parking space.
We are a 6.36m pvc, so had to use two spaces. Could not see anywhere how you could purchase 2 spaces on the website.
Don’t think it’s a problem, but there is always that thing in the back of your mind, about being outside of the criteria.

I booked it, thanks. Checked on Street view and plenty of places where you can overhang the rear of the van, so we can fit on one space.

Really useful thread, thank you. Used for car spaces in the past but had not thought of using it for the van.

We have used them in the past and had to take 2 spaces in a Sainsbury's carpark
The carpark has a camera to monitor vehicles in and out so would not necessarily see you take 2 spaces.

It would be the same if you went to the supermarket for the standard free time to do your shopping

It's worth remembering that that there are some on-street parking places covered by this scheme. Vehicle length is less of an issue in those places I imagine.

I use a place in Aldershot with no marked bays on-street.

I parked at Tesco near Bristol airport for three months! Had multiple threats of my car being crushed.
Arrived back after the three months to find my car full of stickers placed on it by Tesco's manager.
It was about 10 pm now the funeral begins.
I went in the store and found the duty manager who was not aware of the App!
Told me I needed to register on the "white" list
Obviously put him on the right track with the App images etc
He apologised and with a little encouragement got all the stickers cleaned off.
The App works well for me, however in the future I went into the store and gave them my direct contact number in Spain, not a problem since.

Fair enough but does sound as though Tesco staff knew what they were doing . Or weren't informed of the scheme .
