It would be the live if single pole.
 
...and make sure the terminal screw is clamped onto the coppery coloured bit and not the plastic another coloured bit. 😀

To right as easy swappable, best to fit a changeover in you van which will tell you at a glance with a red or green led, just flick over to correct.
