I know there are probably 2 camps regarding parking level....

One that can sleep in the side of a steep mountain as long as the glass of wine doesn't slide off the table....

And me who will toss and turn all night if one wheel is so much as slightly off...

We've (well I've tried) all sorts over the years including a cheap plastic T level bluetacked to the dashboard in a position that gives a rough indication of the bed being level...

However.... Spotted these a couple of weeks back.

£30 or so delivered from far shores...

Download the app to your phone

Site the level unit somewhere (corner of bed/floor etc etc)

Level your motorhome/camper and calibrate unit...

Boom job done.

Runs from a couple of AA batteries

And an easy to view screen on your phone to see which corner needs adjusting.

Not that bothered, but I have two spirit level apps and usually try them both on the kitchen worktop, by eye, I can get within a degree or two, I prefer cab end down anyway.

Jug of water [or, better still, milk] placed on the kitchn worksurface narrow section, opposite the hab door. Viewing for front-to-rear level from the ground is accurate, and then step up into the kitchen and check across the van, confirming with a visual check on the bulkhead shelf above the cab. Then, either put the kettle on to use the water, or gulp the milk ... :ROFLMAO:

I just ask 'er which tyres I've got to let down Steve. 😐

Don't like milk

There are Apps for smartphones that can use the tech in the phone to tell you how level the van is when it is laid on a flat surface such as a worktop.
I can see being able to use the phone to read a device to give you real-time level info as you move on a levelling ramp would be very handy though (y)

I have an app on my iPhone but its easier to use a round spirit level rather than take the case off the phone

TBH it’s a big issue for me, at Donington Park this weekend I needed to ramp up the front levellers by approx 8 inches, still wasn’t level but it was close enough to live with, shower didn’t drain completely but life ain’t perfect

Many years back Rob on one of our regular trips to Lourdes i saw a frenchman on an aire dig a hole so he could drop his front nearside wheel into it then he was level.
Following morning after it had rained all night he couldn't get out as his wheel was just spinning so a few of us got together and helped him despite the language barrier.
We would try and call in on every trip so Shirley could light a candle for her dad who was taken there by " Jumbalance " in his final days, her mum also went as she nursed him during the trip there and back.
Used to see the bendy Jumbalance regular but haven't seen it for years now

Life ain't perfect, agreed; but, with the cost of living, it bloody well should be ... :ROFLMAO:. Every time I see a new Tank on the telly, I shout at the screen, 'Don't you dare scratch it, I'm still paying for it, and will be for years to come!'

I happened to have an extra one of these which I've relocated to the MH and simply pop it on the dining table just behind passenger seat where it's easy to see. A quick fore-and-aft and transverse check takes seconds and allows us to work out best ramps arrangement.

Personally I can't see anything wrong with an old fashioned gravity powered spirit level. No batteries, no apps, no computers or phones. Why all the complications?
