As above, mine needs replacing.
Anyone know of a place to get a solid cable type rather than the braided Fiat one?
Or, what size of cable to use?

Think I've just spotted this one at coastal motorhomes.

Had a supplemental strap fitted about 2 years ago when the M/Home was serviced. Had a quick look whilst lying under the van at Barnoldswick and still looks almost as new, bolted onto the bellhousing of the gearbox

Any auto electrician will make one up for you for the length that you need

Some car shops will make one up, i make my own ones and have the tool to crimp the end fitting.

I would note that there are cheap and nasty 'fake' copper straps about, so be suspicious of bargains that look 'too good to be true'.

So, went to Fiat Professional not far from me and got an OEM one, they've changed the design, I think, they do sell quite a few of them.
