Window locks

I have them fitted on my windows. They’ll probably slow somebody down when they’re trying to break in.

We have them fitted on all our windows. I have removed the lockmout sticker in case somebody interprets that as a challenge, and decides to give it a try for the sheer hell of it.
They only slip on and off and are very easy to live with, whilst giving slightly more confidence when out and about or asleep at night.

Lock m out would hardly slow your exit in the event of fire Charlie. From the inside they are very easy to remove. From the outside, nigh on impossible, without a crow bar.

That in my opinion is good advice Rog. Different but several years ago I sold a car to a friend of mine in the CID he had an alarm fitted (before the days manufacturers were making it standard) and the workshop applied the Moss stickers in the window, First thing Andy did was remove them for similar reasons to yours " You put the stickers in the window saying Moss , you are telling the burglar how it is installed in effect "

We were broken into through a window ... caravan style ones. We purchased a single Lock em out to see how it worked and then bought for all the windows. Anything that makes it look harder to break into is worth the investment ... within reason.

We transferred them to our new van ... with different windows. The only negative is that we have to take them off at night to put up the privacy blinds. But then most vans are broken into when the owners are not in residence.

I don’t know how much dearer the window alarms are or if they are more efficient as a deterrent ... do they lock the windows as well as issue an alarm? Might be worth looking at as an alternative.

I have them fitted to all my windows and believe they provide an effective solution and deterrent.

Very quick and easy to remove even in the dark.
