Will wild camping be ok after this?

Just putting this out there, schools phase 5 , if the lock down restriction are eased through the other phases kids will need to be looked after if people start to go back to work, who will look after the kids until the summer holidays start?
I know, do what they did with kids when I were a lad. Kick them out after breakfast with a sandwich wrapped in bread waxed wrapper and a bottle of water and tell them not to come back 'til tea time (that's dinner to southerners).

I think it'll be a long time before this is over and we are welcome anywhere other than legal stop overs as I can't see anyone welcoming strangers into their community's for a long time if there's any chance we'd be virus carriers so we all need that vaccine
A legal stopover is anywhere that it is not illegal to stop over; the majority of the POIs are legal stopovers, though there are some, such as Forestry Commission car parks, that are not legal night-time stopovers.

I've tried really hard to work out what I & my neighbours would think about people coming back into our area. We are rural but a tourist destination, less than a mile from the Brecon Beacons National Park. Of late the roads have been wonderfully quiet except for the bloody cyclists! These are the lycra clad enthusiasts who will most likely have come from the big towns & valleys. They don't bring anything to the area except maybe the virus, they don't interact in any way & many are a hazard to local walkers and drivers. A couple of motorhomes, popping into the local shop & stopping for a chat as they walk their dogs or explore the area, would be far more welcome. OK they might bring the virus, but compared with the cyclists they also bring money & a bit of socialisation.

If you have ever spectated on Le Tour then you will be well aware of how much cyclist bring in. Everybody to their own and don't mention dogs.
They came through Portsmouth some years ago. I walked through the park to watch. Loads of advertising vans, service vehicles and then the riders. All over in 10 minutes and I can't see what money it brought into the city.

That is a major sporting event & having watched the Tour of Britain when we were away in our van I know what you mean. However, the cyclists we are seeing aren't bringing anything in. Last week one stopped opposite our cottage ate his lunch & left the orange peel and apple core on the church wall, ignorant sod.

I cycled with a couple of clubs and part of the road trip out was normally at least two cafe stops so money definitely spent in the area visited ,,,,,,unlike the motorhomes who are self contained and pride a free day out without spending a penny

I know it is all about money !
But the Tour De France...even witout spectators (?) has a huge entourage. Press TV support crews and all that brings...Hotel accommodation etc for all. No social distancing possible..I say Non Non Non...it could well spark a surge in CV-19..But I who am I. Money Rules NOT the well being pf a nation !

who will look after the kids until the summer holidays start?
Probably the same one that looks after them during the summer holidays. I've seen kids who get free school meals getting them delivered to their door now and have wondered how they manage during holidays. It would be a bad idea to start schools up again before the summer hols if things really improve they could start them up again during the holiday period

Well im giving it until the 1st of June and if nothing changes I’m moving to Ireland 😂😂
Lots of homes for you at cheap price.

I think we will probably use Brit stops at first until we are happy that we are not annoying anyone
TBH, I have always preferred using Brit Stops rather than semi-random laybys anyway.
I would say your idea makes good sense, as you will be parking on private land with the owners/landlords permission so much less likely to get any hassle from anyone.
