Will the war affect us?

A few cartridges never hindered me, addresses for oil tanks please.

Slovenia has introduced fuel rationing and EU say fuel supply is critical, according to the Guardian Live Blog this morning

UK Government has rejected UK Petroleum/Exploration Trade Body suggestion to raise North Sea Oil/Gas production, despite benefits of reduced emissions from reduced shipping costs, marginal benefits to Balance of Payments, and knock on advantage of steadying the Financial Markets [thereby helping to ease interest rates and reducing UK debt servicing costs], merely replying that UK must get away from fossil fuels ...

But the latter won't happen this side of the weekend, and vehicles will need refuelled by then ... And I have a vested interest - after UK exit fom EU, medication is sourced from wherever it is available, and my last pack of pills was produced in Slovenia, who have introduced fuel rationing ... My next post could be from A&E ...

A factory beside my old unit went bust, they had a big big tank full of oil, we had the lot before the liquidators arrived, boss told us we could have it.

Rob, there was a few mins clip on brekkie news last week about rural areas, in this case, England. Young couple interviewed, tank recently brimmed @ a total cost of £750-ish. Got up in the morning, woman looked at fuel content device in the house, flickering, checked tank, fuel all gone, they heard nothing, including their dog. To refuel at the time of this report, cost @ £1600, more double the price. Similar report with a farm, fuel nicked.

Again down south, Sussex? Police stopped a transit van, on inspecting inside, one off those large plastic tanks with alloy tube frame around it to beef it up, kero inside, also 12V pumping equipment with other wrecking gear found. Charged on suspicion of fuel theft.

How does LPG compare with kero cost wise, not a nickable product in those large steel tanks?

As I read it Slovenia actually has plenty of fuel but it is suffering from significantly increased demand as their prices are much lower than neighbouring countries so drivers (especially HGV) are literally travelling cross border into Slovenia for cheaper fuel. Yet again a case of unnecessary fuel buying causing the non existent shortage!

Gas works out at 1% less efc than oil, not much difference, but only problem is you cannot work at/on gas boilers by law, with oil/wood coal you can do as you like.
