Hello,
Going down to see daughter next week any-body know some good areas near Bangor, dog friendly, cheers

We found it really tricky to find a wild camping place near Bangor so ended up at a quiet little campsite called Dinas Farm £7pp pn. No frills but clean and in a lovely spot by a river. Couple of photos on my profile page. Other than that you will find more over the bridge in Anglesey.

Just move down past Caernavon to Dinas Dinlle up near the airport is a good spot.

Hey there,

I'm coming wilding in Wales this weekend - i just checked out the coast road leading up to Caernarfon Airport. If that's where you meant then unfortunately they have a 'no overnight camping' sign visible on google maps. A bugger really as it looks really good.

Now don't get me wrong, its not that I'm averse to twisting / breaking / jumping on a few rules but i dont want to give wilders a bad name by blatantly ignoring them ;-)

Sad to say, all the parking bays on the road to the airport at Dinas Dinlle now have no overnight camping signs. We checked this road out in August.
