Hätteboda camping is located by a couple of lakes, very lonely and has no electricity or water toilets. Everything is very primitive, rotting toilets, if you want to shower you have to hang a black plastic bag with water in the sun, you have to saw and chop your wood if you want to make a fire in one of the well-arranged fire places.

It's worth it though, plus the site is well down south so could easily stock up on the way and save a bit for Swedish treats.

I was there on June 25 before the pandemic and then there were no mosquitoes. Now I'm Swedish and can tolerate a bit of mosquitoes.
