Wildcamping Mice!

It's been a very long cold winter, and what comfort loving mouse
would choose to live in a chilly hole in the ground,
when some friendly human thing has a lovely warm
comfortable motor home parked close by.
OK! I can sympathize with the poor creatures
for their plight this year but, "Not in My Van"
This is the first year I've had a mouse problem
I really hate killing things (even spiders)
but sometimes needs must.
Anyway, I used only traps, and have now solved the problem
I have heard mouse problems have been widespread in motor homes this winter
has anyone else had wild camping mice this year?

In the mid eighties I had a Mitsubishi Express 8 seater wagon and was camping on the side of the Murray River in Australia. The weather decided to well and truly break and we had an enormous storm which flooded just about everything in sight - including the marsupial mice that inhabited the river banks. At least three managed to hop inside the open door and took up residence as food was plentiful - a toddler throwing food!! We got rid of two of the little buggers by just leaving the door open, but one refused to leave and took up residence behind the dash. The tail would swing down over the speedo - most disturbing. I traded the van in with marsupial still in residence and just a slight smell of wildlife. Could have been worse - a big Red Kangaroo?

We had a mouse hitch a lift with us in the south of France this year. Must have have realised we where heading north & decided to jump mh.:)
