We recently stayed on a site at St Davids, the carpark above the beach looked like an ideal spot to wild, in fact, one evening when we went for a walk, we did see a van parked up. There are no official signs, it's not pay & display, has no facilities etc but the views are fantastic...doubt you'd have any shelter though if the weather was howling! I'll try & put some pics that we took on here, but please remember, I don't know whether you'd get away with parking up there, but we'd certainly give it a go next time we are in the area

I've managed to put a couple of pics on - hope these help. (Although the carpark doesn't look very level, it is level at the back of the carpark, in this pic I was taking the view more than the carpark!)

Cemlyn bay Anglesey

As I fish we regularly use Cemlyn Bay. There is a thread on Cemlyn. LLigwy Beach is good as is Holyhead Countryside park. I have stayed at all 3 with no problems.

Cemlyn is no longer available unless you want to give Wild Campers a bad name. Lligwy is, but you're liable for £10 per night charge in either car park, though far less likely in the one without the toilets. Holyhead is good.

I recently did a list of spots on Anglesey for another member which I don't have a copy of. If they read this, they might dig it out and share it. Sorry- I would, but only out of hospital this morning after suffering second heart attack in just a few weeks.

Sorry to hear you've been unwell, Caspar ...

May I wish you a speedy recovery.

Regards

Chris

This car park is also manned, at least during the peak season. 10 pound for all day parking for campervan/minibus. No overnight parking.

Aahh I didin't realise that. We were there for the double bank holiday jubilee week in June, and no payment was needed then, but as you say, that wasn't peak season.
