Hiya all,
Just found the website today after a sort of recommendation and duly registered. Still finding out how to navigate round the site and start using the facilities. My partner Lynn and I have just taken semi-retirement, we have a motorhome, however, we were in N Wales last week and saw quite a few Motorhomes. Anyone know what the wild camping situation is in N Wales, it's something we haven't tried (yet) in the UK.
Look forward to hearing from you.

helo gorakshep & lynn, and welcome to the site hope you like it

Hello and welcome.

I'm sure you'll find this the most friendly and helpfull site there is, I certainly have.

A read through the wildcamping location threads for the area you are intrested in is probably the best place to start, and then I'm sure you will find someone to answer any specific questions you have.

Thanks for the prompt reply, really helpful, as mentioned i'm still 'feeling' round the site, consequently how do I find 'forums'

Thanks sundown, starting to get the hang of things a little bit more now.

Hi & welcome Gorakshep.
Regarding wilding in Wales, I have put on several locations as I wild in Wales quite frequently.
As Sundown says, look in Wales and you will come across them.
Try Caernarfon, Aberaeron, Beaumaris & Aberystwyth.
Hope this helps and you may see that I have suggested a wild meet at Caernarfon at Easter. Look up Easter Meet!

Hiya,
Still finding my way round the 'quotes, post multi quote' options etc so apologies if my replies end up somewhere else!

Just to say we like walking/trekking which the motorhome gives us plenty of opportunities to do. Saw Everest Base Camp as a challenge but something in the same vein. Planning other similar things this year. EG came across a site in Slovenia, ideal for trekking the Julian Alps:):):)

Hi.

Was this the site at Dovja/Mojstrana. We stopped there for a few days last year, lovely site and a great setting.

http://maps.google.co.uk/?ie=UTF8&ll=46.466005,13.932896&spn=0.052852,0.1157&z=13&om=0

Actual site is by the first right turn into Dovja when heading west along the 201.

If your's is a different site could you let me know as we intend going back to this area again this year.
