Hi as yet I am not a fully paid member but willing to pay up but just a quick question.
Is there many poi for the North East especially around the Northumberland coastline or Cheviots for wild camping ?? These are my preffered areas so might be wasting money if there is very few around here and they are mainly down south .

There's plenty of pois all over the UK. However thats not the only reason to join. The forum is much nicer without the ads, theres lots of full member discounts, you can attend the many rallies and you get extra entries to the prize draw. Not bad for less than a night on many sites I reckon.

Graham, to answer your question, there are over 50 POIs from Berwick on Tweed down to Newcastle, we went up the Northumberland coast last year and spent a week touring slowly without staying in any formal sites, and had a great time; it is definitely worth joining as a full member, as previously stated.

I don't think you should join and get access to the poi's because that's one more van using them. Seriously though, I spent a week in March touring the North East with no one else on any overnight spot, but then there was 6 ft of snow.
