Wild camping near Pen y Pass in Snowdonia

Am hoping to take the van to Snowdonia tomorrow to join some friends doing the 3 Peaks Challenge. Anyone know of places I could wild camp near the Pen y Pass car park? Is it allowed to stay overnight in that car park?
