I have just added an elsan point in a carpark in Fort Augustus.
But there is no designated poi for Elsan points.
I had to include as a carpark.
Maybe Phill could add such a designation.

Hope so. He told me 1 year and 11 months ago (to the day!) that he would do so when he had time. He's a busy man. In the meantime, if it's not an overnighting location and you really want to add it, you might do better using the WT or WS category.

Elsan point in a car park?? Does that mean it is an overnight stopping place or can you randomly empty your toilet in the car park!.

Not necessarily an overnighting location (and if it's the one that I believe it to be, overnighting is prohibited). A number of places in Scotland have installed disposal points for the contents of toilet cassettes (with no facility to dispose of grey or fill up with fresh water), often chargeable. And no, do not randomly empty your toilet all over the car park.

Oh £$%^ !

Interesting question.

A lot of public toilets say "No chemical disposal"

Now our MH uses a system called SOG or something so no chemicals needed. So our tank just contains diluted wee and some toilet paper.

As no chemicals are involved and that is what they seem to be prohibiting, can I empty ours into such public toilets?

Sometimes toilets are connected to sceptic tanks and yes chemicals can damage them.
Green chemicals are less damaging, but they can also damage sceptic tanks.
But the primary reason for not using public toilets is hygiene.
I sometimes use our own toilet to empty our cassette and I find it difficult to avoid splashing and spillage. My wife covers the whole floor with newspaper, and then thoroughly cleans the whole toilet. I have witnessed the mess left by those who chose to empty their cassettes in public toilets, even when signs are there prohibiting it.
It’s normally done at night they’re in and out in a minute or less having left evidence of their act.

For me it’s really simple when planning a trip, include within your plans when and where you will empty your cassette, up here in Scotland every month new elsan points are popping up everywhere. Theres no reason to empty your cassette into a public toilet.

My post about putting non chemical toilet waste down a public loo was a bit tongue in cheek. But it is what we do when we get home and it is perfectly possible to do so without covering the floor and walls of your bathroom with toilet waste.

In general we have a rule of not using the mh loo for no 2's you can usually wait for that and we try to do that in public loos or pubs / restaurants or even supermarkets etc.

We also plan on spending every third night on a site, for a proper shower, and to service things like the loo and not yet had the need to break any rules.

As usual it is the inconsiderate that dump a weeks worth of waste on one pour and block the loo that resulted in disposal being banned at most public toilets.
