Who's wilding at the momment

Just out of interest , me being bloody nosey :p , who's wilding at the mo ? , fulltime or because of holidays , I keep looking at my van , looking at the weather reports but can't find the get up and go that I need , maybe it's because I would be without internet connection , I know Mcdonalds ect , maybe it's because I've been in the house all warm and cosey for too long , my van is ready to go , apart from breakdown cover , that's easy , maybe it's a little too early , uuum :idea: , i'm not feeling that well at the moment but that's nothing new , i'm lucky to get a few days without pain of some kind , I used to get a lot of pain in my neck and my ass but my girlfriend has gone now :confused: , anyone else feeling the same , bloody weather , :sad: :p , any ideas would be great.
 
i've got an idea,get off your ass and go for it,or you''ll be sat there in winter wondering where the time went and wishing you'd done more !. me,i drive into Wales,go over a cattle grid in the mountains.park up and put the kettle on ! doesn't have to be that big a deal
 
hi. sat in san vicente in northern spain . been wilding since nov 4th last year.
only got as far as adra on the spanish med coast . soon be ferry time back to the lovely uk summer .
that should be nice .
wiled all the way from santander to vinaros then down the coast .
called inland to see ken . had a swim in his pool . great chap. hi ,ken .ha ha .
not so warm up here now . even had a bit of rain . see you next year ,if not before.
 
You just got to do it.Doesnt matter about the weather.Tonight we are at home. Tomorrow we will be off the the Mh show at the Bath and west showground...and then .............dont know. But we will be wilding from tomorrow night untill thursday ( doctors appointment) We get out every chance we get.

I am not wilding this weekend but we have been out and about most and done 3 meets and off down south to Herbennys meet on the 25th. I too like you in pain most days but I think you have a choice let your illness rule you or take back your life and you rule the illness I choose the latter and if you wait for the sun you'll still be sat indoors with your van on the drive next year. So come on wrap up warm and get out there. :camper::cool1::banana::have fun:
 
only had about 15 days rain in spain this winter . been in t shirts almost all the way.
you can do it.
i have charcot marie tooth disease.am in constant pain and have both legs in calipers or plastic orthotics .its all possible .
take pain killers all my life .
just do it .
too late when your dead.
i also have throat cancer but that doesnt cause me much pain . just have to come home for opps .
 
As Tezza said you just have to go. Armed with the poi's just head off with a tank of fuel and follow the sun, lol. Sat at the poi at Kilburn in Yorkshire enjoying the last rays of sunshine with a hot brew might have a pint later and I have just sourced a pub for the big game tomorrow , happy days. Go for it.
 
Not exactly wilding but out in van, parked on an airfield so no charge. Just started peeing it down, but snug sat in van typing this. Get out and enjoy the van, away from the drudgery of home and bills, time waits for no man, and there may come - will come a time when you can't get out in it, and it will be too damned late.
 
Out last weekend as SWMBO was feeling much better after her OP. Off to Bournemouth for 10 days camping out as we failed to find a site as it's Easter. We have friends down there and we stopped on a CL site last time and borrowed his Jimi Jeep. Phoned up this time and they are full and have got people booking for EASTER 2015 :idea: So looks like we may be on the road or sea front or at one of the local Wild Camping pub stops.
Then off to Scotland for three weeks and the only bit we know is we are going to the Highland Gathering.

So get your keys out and get out

Sorry to hear about your health problems , just goes to show how life can go on , thanks for the boost .
 
no van and at home but you ask who is wilding, well with 2 grandsons one 3 tuther 4 it dont get much wilder than here

Yes , sorry to be a stick in the mud , this site is great for helping people in a lot of different ways , I have just started packing my stuff ready for when I get up and go , all the towels , cloths ect I leave in the van are in the washing machine , I will do the usual check over , tyre , oil , water ect tomorrow , I am expecting appointments to come at any time but what the hell , can get my friend to check the mail and come back if need be , as I said this site is to help people , hope you understand , have a good evening .

Heading off to Sky for a week tomorrow morning, only 150 miles from home so should be there late afternoon after a quick stop off in Inverness. Hoping winds die down a little. Going to be our first use of the sites POIs.

I hope they've had some rain on Skye in the last week or so as there's bugger all water rivers and falls. :(

got diagnosed with both of them almost 9 years ago . life just as to go on. you cant sit and cry all day.
yes it slows me down abit but still manage the odd surf, snorkel,ride a m,bike and travel in my truck almost every winter. in spain now . its great.
on free wifi at a place we know about . not so much unencripted sites these days . hope i spelt it right . ha ha .
home soon but never mind .roll on next winter.
