Two people that I think would have made an interesting drinking session for me would be Enoch Powell and Tony Benn, two greats in politics both with interesting views quite often opposing But they were actually great friends and apparently did meet up most weeks for a meal , drink and conflab anyway. Mind you I'll have a drink with anyone, don't take much persuading to partake in a little supping and I'm sure I'm capable of boring the ar'e off anyone after a few pints.

Interesting re having a drink with other forum members, People can be so different face to face than the persona you picture in your mind using this media.

Kimbowbill, Rubbertramp, Old Arthur and billy are the only folk I have met on here.

All four are welcome at the table for sure,

Maingate, Sean Rua, even my arch cyber rival AJS ( andDerrickofBerwick ) I could socialise with. I would like to think.
