What's the X factor :confused::confused::confused: Is that the one something like the one where the eat disgusting stuff or the one where they have hours of people sleeping :D:D
I read a good book by Ben Elton CHART THROB (good link for book info) if you read that you can see what a complete set up the X Factor is, there is only one winner Simon Cowell.
We were at an MCC meet the other week & they laid on some entertainment, the 3 girls were ok & they gave a bit of info on the X Factor set up (I thought they were quoting from Ben Elton's book)

I`d like Stacey to win, she`s far better to look at that any of the others but I think Joe will win. Theres gotta be far more girlies out there voting than boys.

One of those TV "reality" talent singing competitions. Ostensibly reality, the voting, songs, side stories(newspapers) and the footage are ruthlessly manipulated by the judges and producers in order to produce a story, hype up a rather dull show, and keep the acts they want as most of the judges have interests in giving recording contracts to the popular acts and making shedloads of cash out of it.

Most people enjoy it for the pantomime it is, but a fair proportion of the dimmer members of the UK population actually think it is real :eek:
 
You have to admit it is difficult to completely avoid it. as this thread proves!.
 
One winner only. Joe. That is if they are judged strictly on their singing ability and their voice.
 
I think you have to wait until a week or two before Xmas. It's cynically timed so the winner gets to be "Xmas Number 1" with more ££££ to follow ;)
