Did you have a look at Pocket GPS World - SatNavs | GPS | Speed Cameras as I suggested in a PM?

TomTom devices do have a maximum number of POI sets that you can load. If you go above that, although the data is on the device, they can't be 'seen'.

Do you have enough storage space to load the POI file?

Are you copying the data to the right location on the TomTom if you're using Windows Explorer?

Try using TomTom Home to transfer the stuff ...

Let us know how you get on.

Too late canalsman,

I am just kicking the chair away now.

AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGHH

:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

RESULT (at bleeding last)

Hoobleedingray

I now have wilding spots on my Tom Tom One (well her TT1 anyway):rolleyes:

It only took 4 days, 18 hours and 45 minutes of blood, sweat and tears. Lots of tears.:eek: Smoked umpteen packets of fags (just when I had cut down), kicked all 6 dogs and stuck me tongue out at the wife. She has confined me to the shed for that.:(

Next week I will have to go through it all again when the updates come out.:eek: I am gonna kill that canalsman when I see him.:D

nuvi 255 then... nice bit of kit :)

regards :D

ok you win. Tom Tom going back - decided that there probably wasn't going to be enough memory in it, so going to have a look at Garmin Nuvi. I like the idea of the free sub to traffic updates, do they all have that?
