Which levelling blocks

I had to wait until you had ordered some before I posted Barry :)

I have a set of Milleco's I. bought when I got the back 7 years back. They got used a lot for a couple of years but since it's usually just me and a couple of dogs in the van I never bother with them. In fact when I was reducing weight to down plate the van knocking on 3 years ago I don't even carry them. So long as I don't fall over when I stand up level or not doesn't worry me, I do like my head higher than my feet in bed but worse case I turn the van round :)

Now with regard to your mention of doing your scientific research. I see you mention a difference between what's needed for 15" or 16" wheels. Those sizes are the wheel rim, you should really have been working on the overall diameter and it isn't a given that a 16" wheel is going to be bigger, or even as big an overall diameter as a 25" :)

Ok I am off to hide again now :)

Interesting on the wheel size. I have Conti Camper tyres on this van as well and they look massive. I have nothing to compare them to other than the standard tyres on the old van which were much smaller in comparison.

New ones could well be bigger but it isn't a given. You can look up online if you know what you had before. I am fairly sure if the profile part is the same then a larger wheel rim would result in a larger overall diameter. I am a bit rusty on it now but used to know more when we were modifying cars :)

Having had a Maxi chassis van for 14 years now, for me it's the other way round, 15" wheels and tyres on a Ducato look tiny.

Isn't that what I said? I think the old wheels on the Kontiki were 15" with standard commercial tyres but the 16" wheels with camping tyres on this one look massive in comparison.

Both of my Milenco ramps have broken in the centre of their bases using them on soft ground and it’s only a 6.4 meter long van. Don’t bother now unless the ground is seriously unlevel.

My maxi van has commercial tyres, and it makes buggerall differance to the size if they are stamped up CP or C.

You’d think they’d stamp the tyre size on the tyre, wouldn’t you. 😂

No need. I just looked at them and thought they are big. Bigger than the old ones for sure. Therefore you need bigger ramps with larger pockets if you have biguns!

Cheers

There seems little difference in height between the quattro and the triple. The Triple to me looks like its got a wider pocket than the Quattro. I wonder if the three step one would be better for the larger wheels.

I have a set of each of these.
I bought the Quattro ones before the Trident ones were announced.
The problem is that the four dents are all too small to hold a tyre in the cup.
The Trident ones are far better in my opinion.
If anyone disagrees, that's fine. You could buy my Quattros if you like. I haven't used them in years.

Did you mean to say the triple is far better?
