Where to wild camp in South Shields

Hello,
Anybody know of any places that are OK to wild camp in South Shields preferably with toilets close by and a good view oh and quiet would be good lol

Nothing springs to mind that would fulfill all criteria - do you mean a view of the sea? There are some large carparks but are likely to forbid overnighting. You can park at the side of the road on the Leas but that would be noisy with passing traffic.
"South Shields' covers quite a large area, I could maybe go and check out a few places for you if you narrowed it down or let me know why you wanted to be here.

go down ocean road towards the sea turn right onto seafield terrace go up side of park till it levels off a bit.
you can stay on side of road outside park gate no problem. there is a car park behind colemans fish and chip shop
on ocean road with no signs or tickets.

Its 47 years since I left Shields and Colemans was there then. Sorry to invade, put it down to an old f*rts wonderings.

Hi eddyt, do you mean Sea road and Sea View terrace?

Seafield Terrace runs alongside the park. But becomes Seaview Terrace halfway down.

Ocean road is the one with all the curry restaurants (and Coleman's). Sea Road is the road that follows the coast past the funfair, gypsy's green

yes its seafield terrace where we stopped just past the gate into the park.
its not totally level but we managed. there is houses on the other side of the road but it is a wide
road and the houses don't look like the type to complain. also there is a security camera nearby to
guard the van. At the bottom of the road is a swimming pool.
