Where did my 50+ amps disappear to?

As you have a solar panel where is this connected ? If it is connected directly to the leisure battery the Sargent unit can have no way of monitoring the charge going into the battery from the solar panel and the display will be showing a bogus reading. IE all the discharge and non of the solar charge. If it is a new van then the Sargent control unit should be able to handle the solar panel input directly. I do wonder why have you had three solar regulators fail? this seems very strange as these are in the main very reliable. perhaps a little more information would help us identify the issue. I doubt that the Sargent unit uses one ampere hour unless it is faulty this would be unacceptable and would on its own run the battery down to unacceptable levels in two to three days.
