You miss my point. Whenever there is a council putting in restrictions there are always some saying " I will take my money where we are welcome." Meaning they are no longer going to go into that area. Even though there may well be the odd places that you can stay. Even small basic campsites are commercial that's why they are campsites. How many councils are there that make us welcome. Or not even welcome us but don't actively try to deter us one way or another. Very few.If you look on Search For Sites there are plenty of places we can stay across the UK, that is not in full commercial sites. These range from overnight stops with no services, to Aires, pub stops and tiny basic campsites.
