Do you mean a steel wheel? Probably a plastic hub cap...

I speck you mean hub caps I use a stiff brush an WD40

If road wheels or the hub/drums, me I would shot blast and 2 pack.

On ride on mowers wheels we use a wire brush on a angle grinder to get loose paint an rust off an then a lidles rattle can of black paint and then flog em.

Yup, and by the time the rust comes back through (a week later) you've got your money and gone.

Clean and paint with Hammerite.
Silver, black or white.
Smooth or "crazed".
Worked for us !

Those trims look great.
Worth painting/rustprevention as well

But these are 16" not 15"

Just need them tidying up a bit. I've had a quick scan round on t'internet but struggled to find any.
Reckon if I can just spray them with a suitable paint instead to tart them up a bit... ?

If they are plastic then you will probably need a plastic primer first followed by a top coat.

If you paint the wheels black then spray the wheel trims silver they will look good
This primer is good considering it is a rattle can
