With very little space, what do think are the essential items to carry?
 
a good towrope,
cree torch
small multimeter
roll gaffa tape
small roll garden wire
screwdriver with bits
small socket set,
adjustable spanner
sidecutters
hammer
how much room is left?
 
full socket set in fact almost a full garage kit . grinder, welder . pop rivetter ,taps dies . puncture outfit ,spare inner tubes . its endless.
 
Jump leads
Fuel can
Air pump for tyres
Bag or box of various screws / nuts / bolts / brackets / widgets etc
Fuses

Oh yes - all stored neatly in my little t4!
 
you should buy my little shed-on-wheels,then you take loads of kit everywhere you go !
 
i used to take all that in my t2. cant have a break down that you cant fix . mind i was touring africa . even took tools for stripping the gearbox . i worked on if i didnt have them others certainly wouldnt . had loads of spart parts as well.
bit like it now . cant be broken down . could die waiting for help .

AA membership card and a corkscrew just in case one of the bottles is not a screwcap :cheers:
