What water hose length?

Love the idea of a velcro strap for pushdowns!

Some of the pushdowns - in France at least - are designed to foil this method because if you hold them down, water won't flow until the button is fully released.

I do carry a hose, but it is the watering can that is used nearly all of the time. No problems with fittings and the tap can be as far away as my legs can carry me.

Speaking of hoses always being 6" too short - This morning passed a monstrous rig - Heavy goods vehicle towing a huge habitation trailer with 3' slideouts each side. Trailer had single axle on a turntable at front and two axles at rear AND there was an enclosed trailer towed behind that with a small car inside. Truck and main trailer were beautifully painted in iridescent finish.

Parked in a village aire and had both power cords and hose running 100 yards to the toilet block.

I think 100yards of cable and hose would blow my entire payload...

Thanks for all of the useful input. We've just completed our first weeks touring, we took a variety of means of filling up with fresh water and I concur that the large watering can is the way to go. The annoying thing we found were the Public Loo's with those stainless steel combined soap, water, blown air, built into the wall anyone tried filling up from one of those?

BTW. OT. There's a tap with a standard 3/4" union connection on the outer wall of the harbour buildings in Barmouth, Wales. Green arrow 52.718783,-4.052006

That would be a challenge.

I did have quite a laugh last week when the previous client had not dried his hands.

So the automatic machine wouldn't wash mine unless I warmed them first.

Sometimes we should be allowed to control this technology ourselves.

There is an automatic toilet here in St-Andre that hoses the entire room down after every visit. Pity the poor sod who enters as someone is leaving! :lol-053:

so you can see he has plenty of payload capacity.

Another convert.
