What to use as a spare tyre?

I didn't read it on the internet Colin, it is something from memory, I posted the links that I looked at after a quick search when Nabsim asked me, I know I have come across it before but it could be in Spain or some other European Country for all I know, the amount of head injuries I have had I am lucky to remember to look on here every day

I know France has tighter rules around tyres, breakdown services there are unlikely to fit a tyre if it is different to others, not sure on rest of Europe.
