No the weight of the panel is plentiful. I also use cable tie to take up slack.

I'm wondering if he needs the quick release to tilt the panels Tim?

I've only tilted in winter but upgrading to 1000 watts from 500w got controllers from bms arrived yesterday . This system tilts both side/ ways !
As now we are told must park in lines on sites

I purchased mine tubes from toolstaion bridgwater for £10 a pole new, but they closed down there buget corner. £ 10 . Looks like there now £20 second hand

End piece from a boss scaffold pole. The poles cost too much to be scrapping the clamps off I think the poles cost about a hundred quid each with two ends.
