what heater to use

I've seen portable gas heaters on Amazon, that work on the little cylinders like the portable gas hob that we love so much. Maybe they would do the job...obviously would need to be attended at all times !!

i av 1 ov those little said heaters and i can tell you they am hot,but they are controllable,they are very stable and you can put them anywhere sensible no more care than havin ya cooker on realli.£15 from a B&M store and £4 for 4 cans of butane don't use it much tho' i have me cooker and dog!!! oh and the missus.

Condensation

You might want to bear in mind that while the gas heaters are very warm, they do cause a lot of condensation.

That said, it's got to be better than not going wilding in the winter

what heating system

We have two systems. One is gas that that does the central heating. And as we have been in minus 12 conditions we put in a Diesal system as well. Never had a problem with power as we have solar panels.
