What couldn’t you live without?

But it is illegal to be drunk in charge of a motor vehicle on a public road.
Actually i believe it’s even more of a ‘Grey’ Area than that !.
It might even be illegal to be just Over the legal limit to drive if parked in a Car Park Or EVEN a Site if it isn’t Gated !. I think it’s more to do with it being a ‘Public Place’ if you get a jobs worth police officer !
Now I’m going to have to find out where the blinking hell I came across that !!!🤔

I open the trap, give 3 or 4 Sprays of my Bio liquid around the bowl, Then Place a cpl of sheets of Toilet paper either side the open Hole.
Now Although I Obviously try & get a ‘Hole in one’ with the satisfaction of the sound thudding just once in the Cassette, I Sometimes miss judge my alinement & the result of my efforts then ricochet of of the sides giving a less satisfying ‘Double Thud’ but at least I don’t have to clear up 😊.
Now I HAVE been thinking of fitting a reversing camera on my Arse to aid alinement, but just can’t work out what ‘Butt Cam’ to get 🤔.

Road Traffic Act 1988 s. 5: "If a person ... is in charge of a motor vehicle on a road or other public place, after consuming [excess] alcohol [then] he is guilty of an offence [but] it is a defence for a person charged with [such] an offence to prove that at the time he is alleged to have committed the offence the circumstances were such that there was no likelihood of his driving the vehicle [with excess alcohol]".

Generally, if you're nowhere near the driving seat, there's little or no prospect of being charged. So don't give the police any reason to suppose you might be thinking of doing something silly.

I normally have the screens on and the seat swivelled before dram time.

Anywhere to which the 'public has a right of access', is as I understand it.
A Tesco car park is an example, although it's said that it's the roadways themselves
that are public but the parking space you occupy is private. Presumably it's legal
to be pissed sitting in your van on your home drive on that basis.

Perhaps we should Prorogue Parliament to give them time for a rest, because it'll take
3 years at least to sort it out. Oh no on second thoughts 🤢

A lifetime of driving & working away has left me being pretty much sorted when I get away. Can't think of anything I would struggle much without really.....

But that's where the problem lies doesn't it, in that does it allow you to be anywhere within the vehicle
other than the driving seat and that's it? I think not, I reckon you'd need to be parked up somewhere that you are not
likely to be moved on and thereby be in breach of the "likelihood of driving" condition, having the keys out of
the ignition and a days parking receipt would all go towards showing intent. Like all the Common Law
conundrums point to a precedent or be first ie the guinea pig.

I asked a police officer about this and as my van has a bulkhead, so I can’t get to the driving seat from the back, he’s told me I can carry on drinking, as long as I’m parked legally. Luckily Scotland allows wild camping so being moved on is very unlikely too
