We’d love to do more in winter and don’t mind the cold (good heater in the van) but the wet does for us. With a big hairy dog that gets clarted up with mud it’s a bit of a challenge.
I wonder, what do others do with their dogs when it is wet and muddy out?
He's a He.Sounds like he / she needs a trip to Dial A Dogwash and a No1 all over. Meg ( Dog ) has a short back and side before we headed off in September. Cuts down on a lot of mess.
We use our van in the winter months. Our preference is a site with some facilities, so when it goes dark you have something to do. We used to go to Caister in Norfolk but the Old Hall Hotel stopped the MH parking. We now go to Seahouses, in Northumberland. Their off season prices are good, especially as you get full use of their leisure facilities, including bar, restaurant, gym, pool, spa, steam rooms etc. Seahouses is a lovely place and we always manage to get out on the beach, even in January.

the best bit is with the amount of people heading South I will have it largely to myself again![]()
