I’ll not be able to go to Spain and Portugal this February. Hospital stuff.

As I wrote on the other site, I’m thinking of Cornwall instead, in February. If you’re aware of do’s, don’ts, or advice you’d be willing to share. I’ll be a happy bunny.

Dunno, but let's have a beer in the bristol area on your way there 👍

Hi ya,
I’m of Cornish Celt stock (Mevagissey)
As far as Wild stop overs go it’s the same DOs & Don’ts as pretty much anywhere else, But with maybe more of an accent & copious amounts of Cider.
Not as much spoiled for choice but still plenty if you look at the POI map.
Don’t underestimate The Boarder areas, both Coastal AND Inland.
Bude,Ilfracombe,Porlock,Breen Sands,

Enjoy

We did Devon and Cornwall in January once. Loved it but it was one of those really bad winters, 2010 I think. We spent one night on Slapton sands car park in six inches of snow. I found there was more going on in Cornwall than Devon. Many of the touristy villages in Devon were dead. Maybe there are more second homes there perhaps. Enjoyed it though. Didnt do much wilding, mainly CLs.

The important hospital visit in January, has now been put off until February.
Earlier this month (December) I’d had my chest shaved, the consent form was signed, and the surgeon decided not to operate. Being honest, I’ve no idea when the new pacemaker will be installed. Hopefully before I keel over 🤞

If you are around Wadebridge call in at the masters arms. You can stay overnight with good food & beer
