Anyone use this type of stuff and if so what's it like please?

Cheers

I would be interested to know too H.

Sounds a bit too good to be true, but willing to give it a go.

Probably going to give it a go tomorrow Rob in any event. I’ll let you know how it goes.

Cheers

If i was you i would just try in a small area like the bonnet leave it for a week or so and see what it looks like then - personally i'd look for a combined wash and wax and just squeege the excess water off to stop the water drying marks

I use demon shine after I have washed the van I apply it with the karcher I buy a gallon at Halfords then pour it into the foam applicator on the power washer then squeegee the van works great and water beads like I’ve just waxed the van plus you don’t get water marking when it dries

I use Autoglym Polar Seal after I have washed the van or the cars, it is easy to apply with a snow foam lance on the pressure washer, a few weeks ago we drove from Hertfordshire in horrendous weather and the car was covered with spray from traffic on the M1, the next morning after heavy rain all night it looked as though I had just washed and waxed it, amazing stuff

I gave a full reply to this post shortly after it was put up, but for heaven knows what reason it was deleted?

Washed over yesterday afternoon and given the treatment this afternoon. Couple of hours down the shore top in the sunshine.

I bought some demon foam and that works so well that I'm buying a second can. If this is as good will complement it well

I've used Greased Lightning "Showroom Shine" since we bought the van 3 years ago and am well pleased. I'll take off heavy dirt first, but otherwise it's just the waterless product. Their website is at https://www.greasedlightning.co.uk/ and you can buy the stuff from Amazon etc.

Well I'm pleased enough with the result. The spray is currently £4.50 for a litre at B&M which beats Halfords at £8.60. We'll see how it resists the dreaded black streaks ...

Cheers

If by "dreaded black streaks" you mean the ones that run down from the window rubbers, about the best thing I've found for them is Fenwicks caravan cleaner used diluted ten parts water to one part cleaner to wash the window rubbers and any stubborn streaks. Fenwicks have an instructional YouTube that I've attached. HTH

Personally I use Williams F1 (the stuff they use on their formula one cars), no water required, just spray it on and wipe off with a cloth. The black marks, bird droppings, road grime etc all wipes off quite easily. Then buff up with a clean cloth, the more you buff the better the shine.

I use arctic snow foam in a snow wand leave it for 5 minutes wash off simples very rarely do I need to break a sweat, I have built up coats of Gloss Boss mind you both a little expensive but means I get to wash rinse and be sitting back down within a couple of hours all done . I also find the snow foam keeps the roof clean for ages as well not sure why but it does. I wipe the foam off of the badges though as it did make my rear chrome strip above the number plate go dull not the main fiat badges or the name plate on the side just the number plate one for some reason so to be safe I wipe off all chrome bits other than that it is good stuff.

Thanks H, I'll get some.

At that price, what's to lose!
