Water pump on my 2013 autorrail died.
It was a Shurflo 4029-181-A32 12v, 7.5LPM flow, 3.5A, 20psi pump. Not made any more.
As far as I can see the current equivalent re function and size is the Shurflo TrailKing 7.
Is this right in your experience?

I would say so. Providing the fittings are the same, which I'm sure they will be, just match the 20psi pressure.

Stick to 7.5lpm 20psi and you should be fine with the Shurflo, more pressure only saves minimal time but may stress any pipework designed for 7.5lpm/20psi

Never had one inside a tank so a different type perhaps, but the higher pressure ones were around and little difference in price, 20psi is plenty enough, 1.5 bar instead of 2 bar.

That am being different :) :) perhaps age of van makes a difference, it's not something I would upgrade though just in case, stick to the same as before.

I expect the pipework uses the standard 12mm push fit system so I'd expect an increase in pressure would be ok as long as the water heater is OK?
Just in case though, Cant the system pressure be adjusted at the pump pressure switch anyway? Is it adjustable on these pumps?

I've just bought the 30 psi one to replace my old one it has a very good flow rate.
So do I but it's bloody noisy. Think I may refit the 20 on as it's quieter. It's nothing to do with rubbers though as I use the same mountings.

We had a 4 pot sureflo pump and it stopped working during the cold spell, so I stripped it but could not find anything wrong, but when I reassembled it I could not get the pressure setting right and it keeps blipping in to top up the pressure so I've bought a new pump, the only one I could get of the same PSI and LPM was a 3 pot pump, which works fine but when it shuts of it rattles the pipes. So I could do with getting the old pump overhauled. Does a anyone know a company that supplies an overhaul kit.

4 pot is the number of diaphram belows in side, I've done a search for the model number and could not find a match. which for an Autotrail van is strange.

Always handy to post any model or part numbers as we often search in a different way and might find what you did notm

The model number is 4028-181-A32, I've been told that Brownhills is good for parts, I might give them a ring if no-one finds a match.

Thanks, Ken.

Thanks Kev, It least you have found part numbers I can go to Brownhills with.

The last link will find the 4028-181-A32, it looks like it has been updated with a plastic body.

This is what I bought as a stop gap, but as I say when it shuts off it doesn't half rattle the pipes.

You can get a thingybob which irons out the pressure and stops that, but the name escapes me.
