While we are away I noticed the toilet door lock started to play up, and rather than getting stuck locked in I’ve removed it.

I’ll dismantle it when we get home next week and see if I can effect a repair. It’s riveted together and not designed to be taken apart - but I’m not one to be put off so I’ll attack it.

Failing that, any suggestions where to go looking for a replacement rather than direct to Burstner?

I guess that it has just worn like normal house door latches do over time so that the latch doesn't fully retract?

Almost certain that it wasn't made by Burstner: they will have bought it in. Maybe when it's apart there will be identifying marks.

Yes it is worn and operates only one way now. I doubt it’s a ‘Burstner’ part but any thoughts where to start looking welcomed

Maybe like rockin horse poo - i'd measure width - length - depth and the square opening for the bar position - maybe then you can use router to modify fitment in door and no-one will be any the wiser
