wanted porta bote

ebay possible scam

i have just won a auction on ebay for a porta bote. i messaged him to say i would come up to mallaig to collect it
he messaged back saying he works on the rigs and would not be back till may 5. I checked the advert again
and noticed he said cash on collection or backs with 175pound delivery. it looks like he is wanting someone
to send a bank transfer to be delivered to steal the money. ill wait till may 5 to see if he responds.

thats what i thought. why put the item up to end the auction when you are away.

Also have you thought about an F-rib, Foldable RIB’s | Product Categories | F-RIB
I've got the 360, great for 2 up sea fishing, but might be a bit heavy though if it has to go on the roof.

he never messaged back. then left a non payment mark on my account. i had to telephone ebay to get it sorted.
