I have been trying for quite some time to locate a locker catch to replace a broken one in my front glove box. I tried the Fiat main dealer who after a lot of searching told me I could only replace the whole locker door (£100) so I didn't buy one obviously.

The catch is a plastic 'C' shape and the end is easily broken off and since the locker door has never fitted properly it was only a question of time before it snapped off.

I feel there must be a supplier somewhere who does such things but I've never found them.

Any help would be most appreciated, thanks.

Hi Viktor, no it isn't. This is the glove box latch as found on any old Fiat Ducato/Peugot Boxer/Citroen Relay.

I'm amazed I can't find one on Ebay or anywhere else.

Thanks for trying!

Try local scrap yards??

do an ebay search for boxer breaking or model of fiat/citroen there are quite a few, then just ask about the part you need.

Stick up a photo Fairytooth and let us all see it. Maybe you might get lucky and someone will know where to get one.

Many thanks. I have left a message with Springfield. Thanks to all for your assistance. Here is a pic of the little blighter:

IMG_1099.jpgThis is the working catch from the other locker/glove box. The whole assembly comes off after removing 4 screws. The catch is a 'C' shaped plastic bit retained by a spring. I've tried mending it by pinning and glueing but no luck.

Cheers guys.
