Which bit is wrong? I recently followed them and found them to be correct. Though they weren't very helpful describing how to fit the fixing screws from inside the body.
What is extraordinarily difficult is fitting the long screws from inside the bodywork to fit the holes in the outside plastic part. 'They' (not Gaslow or Gasit) could have designed the two halves a lot better, including a tapered plastic moulding to guide the long screws into the holes in the outer part.

The proper way is to cut two different sized holes to accommodate the thickness of the vans insulated body, then the clamp is only fitted to the outer skin and only needs the short screws supplied.

they are designed to fit one inside the other & clamp the outer skin only, you can do it but it needs longer screws and can twist due to that, I've fitted a few and always do it the same way.

I did contact Gaslow about this and they agreed it was an error and would change it perhaps at the next printing run.
