Just putting some feelers out asking for one of the Norwegian travellers, does anybody have a secondhand one they are selling

Hi ya,
Try posting it on the For sale or Wanted board so members can help.
Hope one comes your way, if your travelers are over here, as the horse might get tired pony expressing it getting it to Norway 🤔

Is that a 6kg Calor propane bottle? If it is, I have one in Linlithgow, near Edinburgh

I think he may be asking for a gaslow type cylinder which you self fill versus the Calor which you exchange at 3 times the cost.

I've got a 70mm hole saw you can use to make the hole for the filler (y) (not got anything that will fill the hole afterwards though 🤡 )

Other circular vent covers are available

I have a refillable cylinder that came out of my previous self build L2H3 and won’t fit in my present micro camper. I’m not sure of it’s capacity (it’s in the shed) but if it’s of interest I’ll photo and post.

I’m in West Yorkshire.

Interesting. Not sure why you are posting this through? The 70mm holesaw mentioned would be used to then fit a Gasflow filler, rather than just making a random hole in the side of a vehicle. :D

Yes please

To cover the hole when the filler is eventually removed.

I guess if it is a temporary installation. I think I would be more inclined to fit the filler inside the gas locker if I intended to uninstall later?
A better option for covering the hole left would anyway I think be the proper Gaslow blanking filler. They make one specifically to fill the hole left after removal of a filler.

(My 'hole afterwards' comment was meant to be a joke about making a hole and just leaving it. hence the clown emoji :) )

If you have cut the hole in the wrong place, you can use the bit you cut out plus some filler to put it back. . . . . . :)
I have three such circles.
From filling kits I have fitted, not from 3 mistakes I have made. They are interesting to see the different depths and types of insulation used on different motorhome makes and models. A 2009 Hobby was the best.

That's an excellent idea. The cost of the fitting kit is about £80 - £90 so it is well worth removing, and replacing with a vent if you are changing vans.

I posted a while ago that the Gaslow instructions for installing the filler to the body of a motorhome are wrong.
