Currently pitched up at aire in Courchevel, Le Praz, waiting for the final stage of the Criterium du Dauphine tomorrow. (3rd photo) Took a couple of weeks to get here staying at Le Touquet, Le Treport, Samur, Loches, St Paucain, Lyon and Ambert. Lyon and Samur were campsites for proximity to the centres. I highlight the aire at Loches as lovely setting, free and minutes from the citadel (1st photo) and le Bourget du Lac 8 euro something but access to all campsite facilities including private beach which allows dogs, unlike public beach. Beautiful surroundings, minutes from village and loads of bike paths. The final photo was a layby at the col du Pradeaux, before a decent into Ambert. Very patriotic I thought and free.
