a mate from spain is staying with me for a few days & his fridge is playing up its an all electric 12/240v model plenty of power available, if the fridge is cold from mains power and then unplugged 12volt will almost maintain the temp but over 4 days will loose this temp? the green power light when turned to max cooling on 12 volt is lit but the red diagnostic light flashes according to the book this indicates insufficient power! if on 7 out of 9 appears fine but the compressor /fan is constantly running we have had it on mains and now running on 3/4 setting is fine ,???????

Four days just on battery is a long time. If its anything like mine CR65 the fridge itself is just 12v. The 240v side is a separate 240v x 12v power supply that is wired to the fridge. Give the batteries a good charge as they have been well discharged, as the low voltage fault is at around 10.5v I think.

Waeco fridge

I have Waeco CR110 in spain during may with 200 watt solar 480 amps battery stationary for 2 weeks all fine don't forget it will use approx 50 amps 24 hrs on 4-5 setting it was on for 25-30 mins running time per hr at temps of 45 degrees ice cream still solid.
Sorry make sure you have adequate ventilation for fridge motor.

I've got exactly the same problem , Waeco CR50. having trawled t'internet, I think I've figured mine out to be voltage loss on the cables to the fridge. just haven't had the time to prove it yet. I will be testing it soon, i'll keep you posted of results
