Firstly thanks to all who have helped me with my enquiries in the past,now a new problem has occured.I,ve lost the retaining catch which holds the transporter fusebox in position.This catch is approx a centimeter square and is a vulnerable part of the vw,s dash setup.,I,ve knocked the front cover off several times myself.I,ve tried to order the part and the vw garage hasd just rung me to say that there are none of these catches in the country,my next move is to locate breakers yards to see if a vw transporter t4 is being broken up ,perhaps one of our members has an old transporter that they keep for spares and is willing to sell me the part,thanks backstay. ps.the search to find an exterior heavyduty double sided adhesive pad to hold my light weight plastic reversing mirror continues.Have tried Halfords,Autoglass,b&q etcand the leads given me through this forum,3k is the make of the original adhesive pad,this is made in the USA, have spent a ling time on the internet looking,in the end ,it will be easier to buy another reversing mirror at £25.b
 
hi there, wouldn't know where to get the bits myself, but if you haven't already I'd suggest joining the T4 forum, I know that vw owners tend to help each other out a lot, and i'm sure one of those guys or gals will know where to get the catch or where a T$ is being broken - good luck in your search!:)
